Exposure Bracketing-Botanical Walkway Low – Hi Exposure Value

Low Lighting EV

This river and landscape image has some quality issues. The aperture and shutter speed has lack of enough light to pick up elements within the sensor of the camera. Not having needed lighting causes the Willow trees to be a silhouette along with a dark river and darker blue sky. The low Exposure Value below the Zero setting can present an Underexposed image.

Natural Lighting EV

Natural lit skies, Willow trees and river have a much better quality image. As you can see there is much more detail with the sky and clouds. The Willow trees have a natural green color along with the landscape reflection on the river with the wave effect. The camera’s sensor picks up these details because of slower shutter speed of 1/125 of a second similar to 1/250 of a second, the right ISO of 100 for outdoor photography during Sunny days. Longer times of the Camera’s aperture being open to allow much needed light to the sensor before snapping a photo also gives a Natural exposure with an Exposure mode at Zero.

Overexposed EV

A Whiter Sky with a partial white river presents a overexposed photo. The Willow trees also have brightest colors due to the Exposure setting higher than zero. Flash mode being On while capturing landscape scenery under the Sun rays with trees and river causes overexposed photo.
